Sten K Johnson Foundation wants to reach out to individuals, organizations and companies (with a link to Skåne) who have vision and drive to develop projects in education, culture, technology, medicine, entrepreneurship, literature and music.
In Sten K Johnson’s spirit, the Foundation shall support ”cross border” initiatives and innovative individuals who dare venture into untested landscape to develop new ways forward.
The foundation uses FundPro for electronic application.

Terms of agreement
Scholarships can be applied for an accurate, carefully
defined project with a detailed and clear project plan, concrete
formulated goals, schedule and budget. Applications will
also be assessed
based on criteria such as innovation, social benefit and
cross border thinking.

Individuals, organizations or businesses with a link to Skåne.
What is the Foundation financing
The scholarships are targeted preferentially towards projects in the early phases. Examples of costs are development costs, and other project-related costs such as patent application, the cost of purchasing instruments, grants for travelling, marketing costs, publication costs, etc. Sten K Johnson Foundation is at no time be regarded as an employer.
Scholarships are not awarded for the applicants own education. Scholarships are neither awarded for projects that ends before 2019-06-30.
Maximum application sum per project/application is 300 000 SEK.
The application shall consist of
The application shall consist of a popular science description, purpose and objective of the project, project plan and budget.
Agreement and accounting
Scholarship may not be used for other purposes than that to which the application relates. Scholarship recipients are required to, after a year, submit a follow up/accounting to the Foundation. Deferment of the follow up/accounting can be granted if the Foundation believes this is reasonable.
A payed out grant may be recovered if the project is not implemented or if the project is substantially different from the project plan presented in the application.
The right to the grant expires if it is not requested within the deadline specified in the grant letter.
The above conditions can be unilaterally changed by the Foundation.
Candidates are aware of and consent to the Foundation's processing and storage of personal data for the internal evaluation process (Personal Data Act). Applicants have the right to inspect the information recorded. Applicants consent to the publication of the name of the applicant and of the project on the Foundation's website when awarded the scholarship.
Scholarship application can only be made electronically. Applications can be submitted in English or Swedish. Confirmation will be sent out when the online application is received by the Foundation. Note that after the application is submitted, it can not be amended or supplemented.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the application is complete. The Foundation will not consider incomplete applications.
Notification regarding scholarship awards will be sent to all applicants in mid-May.
Scholarship award ceremony will be in mid-June.
